Ships that pass in the night

I often think that something a little profound comes from just playing around with words
and making patterns with them. It has, obviously, something to do with the deeper
significance of language.  While other animals do seem to talk to each other and to us,
we, the humans, do have the most complicated language.  I know that whales
sing and birds have different calls for different circumstances but humans
do make the most complex sounds and written language and use them to make
very complex things beyond what animals can such as computers and Mars Rovers.
There may be something profound here about ships passing in the night or it might just be
a sequence of pretty patterns in white, yellow, black and grey.
